Built by People Who Understand Government
KRK Technology Consultants was founded on a simple premise: government agencies deserve software built specifically for them — not enterprise tools awkwardly adapted to public-sector workflows.
Our Story
KRK Technology Consultants LLC was founded by technologists who spent years watching government agencies struggle with software that was never designed for their needs. Licensing systems built in the 1990s. Permitting workflows held together with spreadsheets. Citizens waiting weeks for decisions that should take hours.
We started KRK to change that. Not by selling agencies on the latest technology trends, but by doing the hard work of understanding how government actually operates — the regulatory constraints, the procurement realities, the staff workflows, the public accountability requirements — and building systems that fit.
Today we work with state and local governments across 18 states, delivering modernization projects that stick. Our clients don't just get new software — they get systems their staff actually use, their citizens actually trust, and their IT teams can actually maintain.
What We Stand For
Government-First Thinking
We don't adapt commercial software to government needs. We design for government from the start — audit trails, public records compliance, multi-agency workflows, and decades-long maintenance horizons built in from day one.
Accountability Over Agility
In government technology, a fast failure isn't a learning opportunity — it's a public trust problem. We move deliberately, test rigorously, and never ship a system we wouldn't stand behind in a public records request.
Long-Term Partnership
We measure success in years, not sprints. Our relationships with clients typically span 5–10 years because we build systems that evolve with their agencies — not systems that require replacement every three years.
Transparency in Everything
Government projects live and die by trust. We communicate openly about timelines, risks, and trade-offs. No surprises at launch. No hidden costs. No scope creep without explicit agreement.
The People Behind the Work
Specialists who have spent careers inside government technology — not just consulting on it.
